Your applications, hosted and looked after
If your applications do not have to run in-house, I can run them for you. Your dashboards and automations then live in a data centre in Germany, and your people open them in the browser and only see what they have been given access to.

One way in to all your applications
At apps.linnerprogramming.com, the solutions I have built for you run in one central, secured place. Your staff log in through the browser and see exactly the applications they have been given access to. None of it requires infrastructure on your side.
- Role-based access: I set up accounts and permissions, and every application belongs to a team
- Nothing to install: opened in the browser, with no software on your staff's machines
- Operations included: monitoring, security updates and backups run in the background
- One point of contact: for questions and incidents you reach me directly
Who sees what?
Access control is the actual reason apps.linnerprogramming.com exists. Every role gets exactly the slice it needs, and everyone works from the same data.
For example
Management sees the overall analysis, sales sees its own region, the department itself sees the detail.
New staff get an account, people who leave lose theirs. I handle both whenever you ask.

Already have a Shiny app?
Plenty of Shiny applications start life in a business team and then run on the machine of the person who built them. As soon as several people are supposed to use it, it turns into an operations question: where does the app run, who is allowed to see it, what happens on an update, and who deals with it when it fails to start one morning.
I take that part on for apps I did not build, too.
- Deployment: containerisation, reproducible package versions and a link you can pass around internally
- Access control: the same role-based access as every other application on apps.linnerprogramming.com
- Operations: monitoring with alerts, security updates and controlled version changes
- Further development on request: I can take on changes to the app, though you are free to have someone else do them
You pay a monthly fee per application, depending on the resources it needs. What that means for your app is something I can tell you after a quick look at it.
Frequently asked questions about operations
Yes. If you commission a solution through Automation+, hosting, monitoring and security updates are part of the monthly package. There is no separate operating fee on top.
On servers belonging to Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Both the provider and the location are entirely within Germany, and no data is transferred to third countries. Before any personal data is processed we sign a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. If your requirements go beyond that, running the solution in your own infrastructure is the better route.
Your staff, through personal accounts, with the permissions you decide on. Plus myself, as far as operations, maintenance and troubleshooting require it. I create and revoke accounts whenever you ask, for example when someone leaves the company.
Monitoring reports errors and outages to me automatically, usually before you notice them. I usually get back to you within 24 hours and then take care of the fix.
Yes. Every application runs in containers, so moving to your own data centre or cloud environment is possible at any time. Hosting with me does not lock you in.
Would you rather host it yourself?
My hosting is an offer you can take or leave. Every solution is containerised and runs just as well in your own data centre or cloud environment, for instance when data is not allowed to leave your building. Which makes more sense in your case is something we settle before the project starts.
And if your team should build and publish its apps itself, Hub is the better fit.
